Private portfolio, watchlist, alerts, and preferences stay locked on public deployments until you unlock this browser.

Appearance
Light mode is the primary BrickInsight experience. Dark mode tokens are reserved for a future release.
Currency & region
Display currency preference. Marketplace listings are filtered by marketplace currency — BrickInsight does not perform live FX conversion.
Portfolio preferences
Defaults used when adding new holdings.
Notifications
Alert rules are evaluated during sync. Only in-app notifications are implemented. Email and push delivery require a future provider.
Data sources
Providers activate automatically when credentials are added to .env or .env.local. Restart the server after changes. Prefer .env.local for secrets when possible. No source changes are required.

Privacy & local data
BrickInsight uses a single-owner model. On public hosts, unlock with APP_ACCESS_TOKEN to access portfolio, watchlist, alerts, and preferences. Data lives in SQLite on the server volume — not a multi-user cloud account system.
